Citizens Bank sponsors and is the founder of a unique organization called the Private Equity CFO Association, (PECFOA). This is a national networking and educational organization for Private Equity CFOs, with approximately 1,700 members in nine chapters across the US. This role will be instrumental in helping the association’s members network with peers and collaborate to face the evolving demands and challenges of their industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the overall administrative, marketing, event coordination, and website management for the Private Equity CFO Association (“PECFOA”).

• Increasing PECFOA’s brand awareness and visibility within the private capital industry and internally within Citizens Bank.

• Liaise with Citizens Private Bank and Citizens Commercial Bank.

• Support and manage PECFOA sponsored events.

• On-site management of events - including monthly board meetings and 3 to 6 chapter events per regional chapter per year.

• Available to travel and handle event registrations, invitations, event planning, coordination, event execution, board minutes, etc.

• Recruit new PECFOA members and maintain existing member relationships.

• Recruit, develop, and manage active Advisory Committees – typically consisting of board approved service providers that service the private capital community.

• Managing, updating and curating content on the PECFOA website and ensure information stays current.

• Solicit ideas from PECFOA members, Board Members, and Advisory Committee Members and counterparts within Citizens Bank.

• Engage with CFOs and senior level Private Equity professionals on a regular basis.

• Execution of PECFOA in-person/virtual events, conferences, and Private Equity forums

• Attend industry events, conferences, and Private Equity forums as needed representing PECFOA.

• Budgeting and expense management for each event.

• Ensure the processing of invoices and contracts per the Corporate Expense policy and track all expenses for budgeting purposes.

• Understand the CPE requirements needed by PECFOA members and events that will qualify for CPE credit.

• Maintain the database of PECFOA members and keep membership current.

• Stay current with relevant industry topics needed to enhance in-person events and webcasts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Finance, Marketing, Project Management, or related field.

• 10+ years experience in the financial industry focused on Commercial clients, Private Equity and related industries with responsibility for relationship building, business development, brand management, or marketing.

• Ideal candidates will possess an extensive network, credentials and respectability in the private equity industry.

• Previous experience in and working knowledge of private equity industry preferred.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work on multiple projects and multi-task.

• Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.

• Experience working with high level professionals.

• Strong business awareness and experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, WordPress, and other marketing software.

• Webmaster skills sufficient to manage the PECFOA Website.

• Partially remote position with travel.

  Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
