Location/Division Specific Information

We are currently seeking a PDS Sterile Operator to join our team in Ferentino, Province of Frosinone, Italy. As a Manufacturing role within Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a crucial part in our world-class production processes.

A day in the Life:

  • Operate production machinery following Batch Record and SOP instructions.

  • Complete and review Batch Records and department documentation, ensuring accuracy and performing necessary calculations.

  • Perform weighing operations of active ingredients and excipients according to Batch Record and SOP guidelines.

  • Prepare solutions for filling in accordance with Batch Record and SOP instructions.

  • Conduct environmental controls as per Batch Record and SOP requirements.

  • Load and set up the isolator containing the filling line, ensuring compliance with Batch Record and Checklist guidelines.

  • Perform filter integrity tests following Batch Record and SOP instructions.

Keys to Success:

To thrive in this position, we welcome candidates with either a high school diploma or the equivalent professional experience. Moreover, we value individuals with prior exposure to a manufacturing setting, a meticulous approach to detail, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Familiarity with sterile operating procedures is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict guidelines.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position involves working in a manufacturing setting, which may include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and exposure to various chemicals. The work environment is highly regulated to ensure product quality and safety.
