Basic purpose of the job*

Mission:

To ensure the successful delivery of project objectives by effectively planning, executing,

and managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Accountabilities *

1.Support stakeholders on project user requirements preparation ensuring

that engineering standards, regulatory aspects, BI policies are well defined according to project scope.

2.Support on Yamagata CapEx Budget control to ensure CapEx expenditure progress.

3.Evaluate and secure necessary resources (internal and external) for each project phase implementation

(Basic Design, Detail Design, Construction, Commissioning and Qualification) and identify risks.

4.Coordinate CapEx Approval process on required forums according to expenditure approval workflow.

5.Ensure the project implementation according to scope, budget, timeline and quality expected

by related stakeholders according to each project strategy.

6.Keep straight communication with Global CapEx team to ensure that global policies

and best practices are constantly applied in our local projects.

Regulatory and / or Organisational Requirements*

●Accomplish with Japanese Regulation requirements.

●Secure local and global Boehringer Ingelheim standards and policies implementation

Balance Project Scope, Time, quality and Budget while coordinating diverse teams,

managing risks, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

External: Regulatory Agencies, Suppliers, Entities

Internal: Yamagata departments and Global GFE CapEx Network

Job Expertise*

●Project Planning and Scheduling: Create detailed project plans, defining milestones,

and setting timelines to ensure project goals are met on time.

●Risk Management: Identify potential risks, developing mitigation strategies,

and managing unforeseen issues effectively.

●Budget Management: Oversee project budget, ensuring costs are controlled,

and making financial decisions to keep the project within budget.

●Communication Skills: Facilitate a clear and effective communication among team members,

stakeholders, and suppliers.

●Leadership and Team Management: Lead diverse teams, motivating members and fostering

a collaborative environment

●Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs,

and managing their expectations.

●Technical Proficiency: Understand the technical aspects of the project and using project management tools

and software effectively.

●Quality Management: Ensure that the project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.

●Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, technology, or market conditions.

Minimum Education/Degree Requirements*

●Degree/Education: Bachelor’s degree

●Focus: Project Management, Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Pharmacist

Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies)*

Language:

●English: Advance level (read, write and speak).

●Japanese: Advance level (read, write and speak).

Work Experience:

●Over 1 year of Project Management Experience

●Pharmaceutical knowledge is desirable.

● Experience on international projects is desirable.
