Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Company is a state-of-the-art facility focused on battery manufacturing. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to take charge of machine maintenance, equipment installation, and troubleshooting in a pristine and organized environment.

Pay and Shift: 1st Shift up to $38 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the manufacturing plant.

  • Ensure all electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and with minimal production downtime.

  • Set up and wire new electrical systems (480V or below) for manufacturing machinery and equipment.

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to keep electrical systems in top condition.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues in circuits, control systems, motors, and other electrical components.

  • Replace or repair faulty parts such as wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and motors as needed.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production staff to coordinate electrical repairs and upgrades.

  • Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and other essential safety protocols when handling equipment.

  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities, completing logs and reports accurately.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, with expertise in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Strong skills in controls troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, conduit work, and preventative maintenance.

  • In-depth knowledge of 480V electrical systems, industrial machinery, and automation systems.

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and circuit testers.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
