About the role:
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Head of Portfolio, Governance & Enablement to support this transformative journey. Reporting directly to the VP Digital Transformation Office, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital ways of working by overseeing the portfolio management of all digital projects, communication, change and learning initiatives as well as governance. You will lead the Portfolio, Governance & Enablement team, governing project financials, resources, and value realization. You will take on a vital role in the digital transformation of our organization by providing strategic oversight and team leadership. Key responsibilities:
Lead the development and management of our Program Portfolio, Governance & Enablement team incl. portfolio management, value tracking & realization, portfolio and IT governance, communication and change, resource & knowledge management, workforce management.
Define and implement a strategy to manage the business demands and ensure that the right projects are given priority.
Improve, together with the head of the project and program excellence the standards on project execution, with a focus on the change management aspect.
Develop and execute our global, state-of-the-art Portfolio, Governance & Enablement services fostering seamless collaboration across our locations, knowledge management, upskilling of employees as well as communication and change.
Oversee, mentor, and guide a team of change managers and portfolio managers.
Directly report to the VP DTO, ensuring alignment of the roadmap with the overall digital strategy and contributing to the digital transformation roadmap.
Monitor and manage continuous improvement of Portfolio, Governance & Enablement using KPIs focusing on reliable performance, user satisfaction/experience.
About you:
Graduate degree in IT/technology, business administration, project management, or a comparable field.
Proficiency in English.
Travel requirements: The role requires the ability and willingness to travel (20%).
A minimum of 10 years of working experience in relevant fields.
Significant experience and deep understanding of digital portfolio management incl. industry trends, and best practices.
Significant project management experience including budgeting, reporting, risk management, and resource planning.
Experience in defining mid-term planning on a 3-5-year horizon and the ability to optimize the process and tools to manage this portfolio. Afterward translate this portfolio to the change management needs, both for the digital department, but also for the broader Barry Callebaut organization.
Experience with change management, communication, organizational design & structure, knowledge management, stakeholder management and training, talent and career management.
Understanding of portfolio and business governance processes and bodies as well as escalation paths.
Hands-on attitude and previous experience in leading teams.
Demonstrated success in leading and managing diverse teams to achieve digital transformation objectives.
Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization.
Good knowledge of Excel and/or portfolio management tools is required.
