Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a world-class leader in scientific research and development, is seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to join our team as a Lyo & Pharma Utilities Operator. This position is located at our Patheon (Part of Thermofisher) Monza site in the Lyo & Pharma Utilities Department.

A day in the Life:

  • Manage the lyo equipment, including conducting checks, analyzing graphs, and monitoring critical parameters of the freeze-drying process.

  • Complete accurate GMP documentation, such as batch records, logbooks, flow charts, and alarm printouts.

  • Maintain machine sheets, daily activity records, and shift change sheets.

  • Monitor the company's primary services for pharmaceutical use, such as water and clean steam.

  • Respond to alarms and alert appropriate personnel, following relevant procedures.

  • Ensure the systems, materials, and work environment are well-maintained.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Previous work experience not strictly required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong understanding of physics and chemistry.

  • Familiarity with PLC and automation, as well as refrigeration techniques.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
