Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Facilities Engineer who holds overall management of the maintenance department, will be required to lead and participate in performing repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the facility. Leads and participates in the installation of fixtures, repairs and adjusts production equipment to assure optimum equipment operation. The Maintenance Coordinator will also assist the Facilities Engineer in the management and administration of all aspects of facilities maintenance including building, grounds, machine, and electrical maintenance, as well as overseeing work performed by outside vendors. Designs and maintains spare parts inventory and negotiates with vendors to help lower costs.
Job may require working alternating or irregular shift schedules to ensure management of maintenance personnel during peak production periods or during emergency situations. Some overnight travel may be required.
General oversight of Maintenance Technicians and department compliance.
Responsible for department project/plan creation and implementation.
General facility and machine maintenance, including but not limited to preventative maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair of automated equipment including mechanical and electrical work.
Performs new electrical/mechanical installations as well as modifications to existing.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate spare parts inventory.
Operate various mobile or powered industrial equipment as required.
Will be required to perform other duties as directed by management.
Must be willing and able to actively participate and lead in plant-wide safety activities
Lead groups of maintenance team partners to accomplish organization objectives
Qualifications
5 + Years of Relevant Industrial Maintenance/Electrical Experience/Inventory and Parts Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
Associates Degree in applied science or equivalent from 2 Year College or Technical School
Basic Computer Knowledge
Strong leadership skills
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, which includes the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and vendors.
Must be highly organized, detail oriented self-starter.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction.

Must possess the ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors.
