Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Pay up to $40/hr

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift position.

• The hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM-3:30 PM.

• This role involves the installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and components with a focus on both electrical (70%) and mechanical (30%) tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and components.

• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on industrial electrical systems, including 480v and 3-phase motors.

• Execute strong PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Siemens and other systems, and programming is a plus.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Strip and rebuild mechanical machinery.

• Carry out hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

• Fit and replace machine parts as necessary.

• Work with industrial networks.

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical aspects of robotic systems, specifically Fanuc or Kuka.

Essential Skills

• Experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on both electrical (70%) and mechanical (30%) tasks.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing 480v and 3-phase motors.

• Strong skills in PLC troubleshooting and VFDs.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Mechanical skills for machinery stripping, rebuilding, and repair.

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Experience with automation or robotics, specifically Fanuc or Kuka.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in the ceramics, metal, or building products industry is a plus.

• Experience with kilns and extruders.

• Familiarity with various VFDs, including Danfoss, SEW, and Siemens.

• Robotic experience with Fanuc or Kuka systems.
